Biography
Full Professor of Developmental Psychology at the UV and accredited to Full Professor in Health Sciences, with 3 five-year teaching periods and 4 six-year research periods, PhD in Psychology and specialist in Clinical Psychology; she has been a Specialist Clinical Psychology Practitioner in various Mental Health Units of the Generalitat Valenciana and Management Technician in Health Institutions (currently on leave of absence).
Lecturer in the Official Interuniversity Master's Degree in Psychogerontology, where he teaches the subject Evaluation and Clinical Intervention in Ageing. She has supervised more than 90 TFM and TFG and 8 Doctoral Theses. She has participated in more than 30 R+D+i projects (regional, national and European) and research contracts, as well as in more than 200 scientific publications, including articles (more than 90 in Web of Science - Core Collection), books and book chapters (25) and more than 130 scientific congresses. He has carried out research stays for more than 2 years, mainly in European universities, with which he maintains stable work collaboration (University College Cork - Ireland, Aston University - Birmingham - UK, Lancaster University, etc.).
She is also director of the Psychology line of the Interdisciplinary Modeling Group-InterTech and the Research Group at the University of Valencia Psychology, Development, Health and Society (PSDEHESO).
Currently, her main line of research focuses on Health Psychology, particularly in two areas: psychosocial and lifestyle factors involved in health and healthy aging, and Frailty Syndrome and high-functioning Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Por otra parte, la compañía ha participado en la creación de una empresa de base tecnológica en la Universidad de Vigo (ERH-Illumnia, S.L.) y una filial en Colombia (Energesis Natura, S.A.S.). De esta forma, la mercantil ha crecido hasta convertirse en un grupo empresarial que promueve la diversificación de su oferta tecnológica y su internacionalización. En el crecimiento de este proyecto, la profesora Navarro ha jugado un papel muy activo, no sólo como socia sino como administradora única (2013-2017) del grupo empresarial. (Energesis).

- Resumen de la trayectoria científica. He ejercido como Facultativo Especialista en Psicología Clínica en diferentes unidades de Salud Mental de la Generalitat Valenciana durante 9 años, a tiempo completo. Desde la práctica clínica, inicié mi trayectoria investigadora y me integré profesionalmente en el ámbito universitario como Profesora Asociada de la Facultad de Psicología de la UV, actividad que compaginé con la praxis de la Psicología Clínica de 2003 a 2009, cuando pasé a desarrollar mi actividad a tiempo completo en la Universidad. El contacto diario con la realidad social (ayuntamientos, centros educativos, sistema penitenciario y judicial, etc.) y con la realidad de los pacientes, me proporcionó un bagaje de conocimientos cuya transferencia al ámbito académico y universitario ha sido muy valorada por los grupos de investigación con los que he colaborado. Desarrollo mi actividad investigadora como Directora del GIUV - PSIDEHESO (Psychological Development, Health & Society), tanto de la UV como de otras universidades españolas/extranjeras. Además, he compaginado esa Dirección con el liderazgo del Área de Psicología del Grupo de Modelización Interdisciplinar InterTech (también formado por profesores de diversas instituciones; http://intertech.webs.upv.es/wpa/index.php/members-psychology), siendo responsable del equipo que lleva a cabo su actividad en el desarrollo y aplicación de diversas técnicas estadísticas y matemáticas en el ámbito de la Psicología, así como en el diseño de programas informáticos de evaluación e intervención en la misma. Fruto de mi actividad investigadora he publicado más de 120 artículos de investigación, de los que 97 de ellos en revistas recogidas en la Web of Science (WoS). Así mismo, he participado en la presentación de más de 140 comunicaciones a congresos (de ellos, más de 40 internacionales), en más de 25 proyectos y contratos de investigación (autonómicos, nacionales y europeos) tanto con administraciones como como empresas, en 4 de ellos como investigador principal, y en 25 libros o capítulos de libros. He sido editora de 3 special issues de revistas indexadas en JCR (2º cuartil: Frontiers in Psychology y Symmetry). Actualmente mi índice h es 35 (Scholar Google), con más de 3.800 citas, y 22 (WOS), con más de 1.600 citas. Soy Catedrática de Universidad desde 2023 en el Departamento de Psicología Evolutiva de la Universitat de València y estoy acreditada a Cátedra en Ciencias de la Salud; tengo 4 sexenios de investigación (nº óptimo de sexenios) y 3 quinquenios docentes; también soy Coordinadora de la materia de Psicología del Desarrollo en el Grado de Pedagogía y miembro de la CAT. He realizado diferentes estancias de investigación que suman más de 2 años de duración. Especialmente, mantiene relaciones estables desde hace años con tres de ellas: University College Cork (Irlanda), Lancaster University (UK), Universidad de Coimbra (Portugal) y Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (Madrid), fruto de las cuales se han desarrollado diversos proyectos y publicado numerosos trabajos de investigación. He dirigido más de 80 Tesis de Máster y Trabajos Fin de Grado y 9 Tesis Doctorales, una de ellas en un programa con Mención hacia la Excelencia (Resolución del Consejo General de Universidades de fecha 6 de octubre de 2011) y otra con mención internacional. Por último, soy revisora de diversas revistas incluidas en JCR, así como Miembro del Panel de Expertos del Organismo Autónomo de Programas Educativos Europeos (OAPEE), desde su constitución hasta la fecha..
