. Dr. Adrián Ferrandis Martínez is presented as a professional with important experience in the fields of Research and Teaching, as well as in Consulting. In this sense, as a geographer, he has a professional trajectory of more than 15 years of experience dedicated to his different fields of specialization. In the first years of his professional career, he devoted himself to territorial, urban and environmental consulting, in which he alternates hiring as a technician in a consultancy and working as a freelance professional. During this period, he participates in the elaboration of all types of plans and programs (General Plans, Partial Plans, Urban Programs, etc.), as well as Socioeconomic and Environmental studies (demographic, landscape, environmental impact or protected housing needs studies). among others). In the field of Research, already linked to the university environment, its trajectory is related to the participation in different types of research projects of International, National, Regional and Local scope. In this sense, it is worth highlighting the achievement of the 1st Sexenio de Investigación recognized for the period 2010-2016 by the AVAP. Among the competitive projects in which he has participated at the International level, those funded by the EU stand out among the ESPON and Live Long Learning programs. At the national level, special mention should be made of its participation in an R + D + I project of the Ministry of Innovation and Science, whose theme was linked to Tourism. At regional and local level, it has participated in a significant number of projects and agreements signed with public and private entities, for the development of different studies and plans. Now is the Director of the LOCSUS Research Group. In the field of teaching, he holds 10 academic periods with positive evaluation (5 years as Associate Professor, 4 years as Assistant Professor Doctor and 1 year as a Professor Doctor). During these periods, he has taught at the Geography and Environment degrees, Tourism degree, Environmental Sciences degree, History degree, Geography degree and Humanities degree. He has also participated in postgraduate degrees, such as the Official Masters in Tourism Management and Planning (UV) and Sustainable Tourism and ICT (UOC), and in their own titles such as the Master in Strategy and Sustainable Management of Tourism destinations ( UOC-OMT) or the Diploma in GIS Applied to the Professional of the Territory. He has also taught classes in various university extension programs and dedicated to those over 55 years. At the University Management level, from July 2017 to June 2019, he was the Coordinator of the Knowledge Area (RGA). He is currently the coordinator of the 3rd level of Geography and the environment and a member of the Permanent Board of the Interuniversity Institute for Local Development.
