Low-cost web sensors to measure the discomfort caused by traffic in the city of Valencia

We all know how uncomfortable may result living in a urban area with heavy traffic.
Can we measure the discomfort and monitor it in real time?
This is a specially interesting aspect for the development of intelligent cities, and in this article some professor of the computer department argue and evaluate alternatives using motes and Raspberry Pi platforms.
As a case of study, some measures are carried out through a deployment of nodes in the Torre Miramar of Valencia.
