The Academic Committee will establish the necessary criteria and rating scale to establish the entry order of precedence
for students in case the demand was higher than the places available. The criteria will be related to the records, the curriculum supported by documents, the degree, the personal interview, etc. They will be assessed as follow:
· Average grade of the undergraduate degree (25%)
· Average grade of the postgraduate studies that gives access to the doctoral studies (25%)
· Academic teaching and professional experience (15%)
· Research experience (10%)
· Credentials of enjoying a pre-doctoral training grant (FPI,FPU, VAL I+d, Atracció de Talent, etc.) (15%)
· Other achievements (with special consideration to the proved knowledge of languages) (5%)
· Personal interview (5%)
The entry criteria and procedures for the part-time students will be the same as for the fully-time students.
The applications will be classified according to the studies modality that the applicant prefers, either part-time or full-time
, allocating them according to the number of places assigned to each modality (15 part-time
15 full-time).
The students can change modality as far as they submit the corresponding application form
to the Programme’s Academic Committee. Such application form must be appropriately supported by the documents that the student deems to be enough for supporting it. The Committee will ultimately decide about the suitability of the requested change and, if it agrees to it, it will issue the corresponding certificate so the Third-Cycle Service of the University can proceed to the modification of the modality requested by the applicant.
In this sense, the academic regulations of the University (enrolment, assessment, etc.) consider specifically an appropriately the case of part-time students.
