ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
As general entry requirement the doctoral students should be contemplated in some of the presumptions of the article 6 of the RD 99/2011 or of the second additional provision of such Royal Decree.


ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS AND CRITERIA:
Specific admission requirements:
-To hold the Master’s Degree in Law, Political and Public Administration Sciences, or Criminology. In the event of holding the Diploma d'Estudis Avançats (DEA-a tertiary education degree)- obtained according to the Royal Decree 778/98– or the Research Proficiency- according to the regulations of the Royal Decree 185/85– , they must have been completed within Doctoral Programmes related to this.
-Nevertheless, those students who had studied undergraduate degrees or licenciatura (former Spanish undergraduate degree) in Law, Political and Public Administration Sciences, or Criminology, and hold a master’s degree or meet the entry requirements stablished by law could also be admitted; and those professionals or researchers from the Public Administration and linked to the legal world, the field of Criminology or Political Science, regardless of their prior university specialisation as long as they meet the requirements within the allowable profile that was previously entered.
The students who are admitted through the requirements set by the second paragraph should proceed,
in any case, the training complements established by this doctoral programme.
-Spoken and written mastery of at least one of the two official languages ​​of the Valencian Community (Valencian and Spanish) to a level equivalent to level B2 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
-The applicant shall submit a document, which will be provided by the Office of the secretary of the centre, in a prescribed format, where the line or lines of research set in the programme in which they be interested in developing their doctoral activity shall be noted.
