Looking for outstanding PhD candidates, postdocs, and experienced engineers to conduct groundbreaking research in the field of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) at the DLR Microwaves and Radar Institute and contribute to projects funded by the European Research Council (ERC), the European Space Agency – ESA, and the German industry.

Topics include, but are not limited to:

- Development of a distributed drone-based SAR demonstrator (including experiments);

- Bi- and multi-static spaceborne-airborne SAR concepts (also exploiting transmitters of opportunities);

- Processing of SAR data acquired by clusters of small satellites for interferometry and tomography.
