    The Degree in Data Science offers a multidisciplinary training in the acquisition, processing, transformation and extraction of knowledge from large volumes of a wide range of data (numbers, images, videos, texts, etc.), as well as the application of this knowledge in areas such as health, social relations, politics, the environment, economy and the company. The Degree provides a solid knowledge base in the field of mathematics, statistics, computer science, artificial intelligence, law, health and business, which allow responding to the growing demand of society to make decisions based on data information.

    The degree in Multimedia Engineering provides general technical training in the tools and methods of engineering. At the same time, it applies it to the needs derived from the communicative paradigm generated by information and communication technologies and, in particular, by multimedia systems. This requires a multidisciplinary approach, combining a solid technological base and good narrative and organisational skills, which enable the design and development of multimedia products.

    • Reaching a good English level during the degree’s course is a necessity, as it enables employment in international companies. Although classes are given in Valencian and Spanish, all subjects occasionally rely on support material in English.
    • Subjects are quarterly and they are all worth 6 credits, except for external internships and degree’s final projects, both worth 12 credits.
    • This degree was given the EUR-ACE® International Quality Certification until 2022.

    • Information leaflet of the Double Degree in Mathematics and Computer Engineering
    • After completing these studies, two degrees will be obtained: A Degree in Mathematics and a Degree in Computer Engineering. In addition, the Degree in Computer Engineering has the Eur-Ace® international quality certification.
    • This programme consists of 351 credits distributed over five academic years. The curriculum includes 12 credits for the Double Degree Final Project and 12 credits for an internship in a company.
    • The subjects are mainly taken as part of one of the groups of the degrees in Mathematics and Computer Engineering. The content of some subjects has been adapted to avoid repetition and to provide students with an optimal training programme.
    • In the event that students wish to leave the double degree programme and continue with one of the two degrees, they can choose which of the two they wish to continue with.

    The Double degree in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering provides a strong theoretical and practical training in the two disciplines that gathers: chemistry, as science that studies the composition, synthesis, characteristics, behaviour and reactivity of the matter, and chemical engineering, which applies the knowledge and developments to the transformation of raw material in useful products manufactured in industrial scale. Therefore, it covers the necessities of the chemical industry and offers solutions to problems related to health, food, energy and the environment among others, contributing to the constant progress of society.

    Profile

    This double and complementary profile is ideal for researching, project development, products and processes design, production and management of productive activities, as well as for teaching in high school, educational cycles and university studies.

    The double degree enables the students for the regulated profession of industrial technical engineer and has the support of the Chemistry and Environmental Association of the Chemistry Sector of the Valencian Community. Furthermore, both the degree and the engineering have been recognized with the signature EuroBachelor® and Eur-Ace®.

    • The double degree enables the students for the regulated profession of industrial technical engineer.
    • The planning of these studies allows to obtain the degrees in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering in five years, with reasonable annual dedication (between 63 and 69 credits per year).
    • Theoretical subjects include problems resolution practices in reduced groups, that make the study and the comprehension easier and contribute to a global evaluation.
    • In the experimentalist laboratories, the students gain competences in the application of measure technics, instruments and industrial equipment management and data analysis.
