The 19th of February of the 2019, the 5th Forum of Intellectual Property took place in the Faculty of Law of the University of Los Andes in Bogotá (Colombia), gathering a wide group of Colombian specialists and institutional authorities.
In the Forum, current problems have been discussed such as: the protection of graffiti, the incidence of the Artificial Intelligence and the authorship, the protection of indigenous cultural expressions, the distributor’s trademarks or the regime of pre-conceived compensations. In this context, the lecturer Guillermo Palao, private professor of International Law of the Universitat de València, lecturer in the Master’s degree in Law, Business and Justice and a member of the Research Excellence Group MedArbValencia, was invited as a speaker and he participated with an speech called ‘International Arbitration and Lawsuits regarding Intellectual and Industrial Property’.
