
Professor Carlos Espulgues, Full University Professor of Private International Law of the Universitat de València, member of the excellence group MedArbValencia and director of the Master’s degree in Law, Business and Justice of the UV, has been invited as professor a the National Taiwan University.
Professor Carlos Espulgues Mota has been invited by the National Taiwan University, the leader university in Taiwan, as visiting professor in its Faculty of Law. Professor Espulgues is giving until next Thursday an intensive course on 'Harmonization of Private Law and Private International Law in the EU’, in which the bases of this process and its most recent and important developments are being approached, focusing specially in the area of international commercial disputes resolution.
The course, which equates to a credit, has attracted great attention at the Faculty of Law and among its students, since there are nearly 30 students enrolled, who come from Taiwan, China, Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, Philippines, United States or Australia, among other nationalities.
Professors Espulgues is the first Spanish full professor of Law who has been invited by NTU since it was created. Espulgues’s presence at NTU answers to the invitation of the Professor Dr. Kuan-Ling Shen, full professor of this university and collaborator of MedArbValencia research group.
