Session recording.

You can record the videoconference simply by accessing the menu Reunión > Grabar reunión and entering a name for the recording. You must stop recording at the end of the session by using the same option.

The recording will be saved on the Connect server of the University and will be stored for 6 months from the date of recording.

The Information Systems Service is not responsible for the quality of the recording, which depends on the Internet connections of the different participants and on networks outside the University of Valencia.

Once you have finished recording your session, there is a procedure by which you can obtain its URL address so that you can give it to the relevant users. This procedure is explained in the following videotutorial:

There is also a method by which you can create an MP4 video of your recording. This way you obtain a video file in MP4 format that can be saved for future use and which is fully compatible with the codecs used by the MMedia media server so you could easily publish it.

The MP4 file is stored locally on your computer and is generated in real time, so if your recording lasts 2 hours, it will take two hours for the resulting file to be created.
