The Würth-EMC Chair of the Universitat de València, directed by professor José Torres, organizes a free seminar related to the selection of components for magnetic compatibility (EMC) that will take place next Wednesday, April 25, starting at 9 am in the Board Room of the ETSE-UV.

The first part of the seminar will be presented by Juan Miguel del Pino, Field Applications Engineer of Würth Elektronik. The contents will be focused on describing the parameters and characteristics that different materials and products like ferrites, common mode shocks and power inductors.

The second part will be given by Adrián Suárez, Researcher of the Würth-EMC Chair of the Universitat de València. This part will be focused on the description of magnetic shielding materials and to present examples of applications in which they can be used to eliminate EMI problems or redirect the magnetic flux.
