The online course ‘Derechos humanos e igualdad de género desde el cómic. Historietas de mujeres refugiadas de Palestina' (Human rights and gender equality from comic. Comic strips by Palestinian refugee women), organised by the Chair for Comic Studies Fundación SM-Universitat de València, in collaboration with UNRWA and the Valencia City Council, takes place from 10 to 19 June.

This course, taught by author Susanna Martín, is part of the programme ‘Una ventana a los Derechos Humanos' (A Window on Human Rights), which itself is part of ‘Gaza Amal: El cómic como herramienta de transformación social y visibilización de las mujeres refugiadas de Palestina' (Gaza Amal: The comic as a tool for social transformation and visibility of refugee women from Palestine), a project developed by UNRWA Comunitat Valenciana that promotes among the young population a critical conscience about gender equality and human rights using comics.

The course is already taking place through the Aula Virtual of the Universitat de València between 10 and 19 June.
