The Chair of Linguistic Rights organises the workshop Is a multilingual, federal Spain possible? Federalism and linguistic rights

In the meeting, coordinated by the Manuel Giménez Abad Foundation, will be held on Tuesday 13 June with the goal of analysing the Spanish territorial model, Spanish linguistic diversity and the possibilities of an asymmetric and solid federal system.

The event will take place in the Joaquín Tomás de Villarroya Hall in the Constitutional Law Department of the UV Law School from 10am to 6:30pm with two breaks, one for coffee and the other for lunch.

Teaching staff from all over Spain will be in attendance to discuss the multilingual reality of Spain and analyse how linguistic diversity is developed in a strictly federal political-territorial model, as well as the current possibilities and limitations of linguistic rights in Spain.
