
On 20 and 26 June this meeting will be celebrated in the headquarters of the Universidad San Francisco de Quito in Valencia, at 9.30h. They are separated sessions and both have free attendance.
The first session will take place on Tuesday 20 June. The specialist in Political Sciences, Regis Dandoy, lecturer of the Universidad San Francisco de Quito (Ecuador), will open the seminar on democratic and social integration and European citizens. The lecturer Regis Dandoy is director of the Centro de Estudios Europeos in the Universidad San Francisco de Quito and tenured university school lecturer of the Chair ‘The impact of electoral attendance of the UE and observation on democracy quality’.
On this first session, the director of the Chair 'Jean Monnet. Economic Services of General Interest in the framework of social and territorial cohesion (SIEGE)’, María Jesús García García, will give the conference ‘Integration and European citizen’s rights in the democracy of the European Union’.
The second meeting will take place on Monday 26 June, at 9:30h. Doctor Regis Dandoy will open the session, which, in this occasion, will be focused on economic services of general interest in the framework of social and territorial cohesion. Then, the lecturer of Administrative Law of the UV, María Jesús García will give a talk on the seminar subject.
This seminar has been organised by the Chair ‘Jean Monnet. Economic Services of General Interest in the framework of social and territorial cohesion (SIEGE)’ of the Universitat de València and the Chair ‘The impact of electoral attendance of the UE and observation on democracy quality’ of the Universidad San Francisco de Quito, both financed jointly by the Europe Union.
