The 2024 awards of the Chair of Port Economics have been resolved.
The Commission responsible for the resolution of the Valenciaport Chair Awards in Port Economics, consisting of the Chair's Director, other affiliated professors, and the Head of Strategic Innovation and Planning of the APV, has determined:
First Prize
That the First Prize of the II Edition of the Valenciaport Chair Awards for the best Research Works carried out in the field of topics of interest to the Chair (announced on October 10, 2023, by the Vice-Rectorate of Innovation and Transfer of the University of Valencia), has been awarded to the Master's Thesis presented by Mr. Guillem Rochina Aguas, entitled "EU Trade and Economic Integration: Revisiting border effects inside the European Union."
Second Prize
In the same evaluation process, the Commission has awarded the Second Prize of the II Edition of the Valenciaport Chair Awards to the Master's Thesis presented by Ms. Aida Mora Ayuso, entitled "Complementarity of rail transport in the Spanish port system: the case of Valenciaport."
