The Summer University of Rincón de Ademuz

The Summer University of Rincón de Ademuz (UVRA) is a joint initiative of the Chair for Citizen Participation and Valencian Landscapes of the Universitat de Valencia and the Office of the Vice-Principal for Territorial Projection and Participation, which starts with the aim of invigorating the Valencian interior regions through a new and intriguing training, cultural and ludic offer.

 

The Summer University of Rincón de Ademuz (UVRA) is a joint initiative of the Chair for Citizen Participation and Valencian Landscapes of the Universitat de Valencia and the Office of the Vice-Principal for Territorial Projection and Participation, which starts with the aim of invigorating the Valencian interior regions through a new and intriguing training, cultural and ludic offer.

It is a pioneer experience in the Valencian rural environment. A proposal that offers an attractive programme of academic and cultural activities that aim at answering the questions that concern rural population. This 1st Edition of the Summer University of Rincón de Ademuz (UVRA) aims at becoming a referent for those people who want to train, enlarge their curriculum and acquire new skills and abilities in their professional and personal knowledge through some training conferences, talks, workshops and round tables, along with concerts, performances, guided visits and nighttime excursions.

The Chair for Citizen Participation and Valencian Landscapes is an academic platform resulting of the collaboration between the Valencian Department for Housing, Public Works and Territorial Vertebration and the Universitat de València, whose objectives are reflection and research, but also dissemination and transfer of knowledge about the democratisation of landscape and territorial values.
