The Universitat de València’s Principal, Esteban Morcillo, and the manager of Exploraciones Radiológicas Especiales, SA (ERESA), Marta Saus, have signed a collaboration agreement for the creation of the Universitat’s ‘Chair ERESA for Medical Diagnosis’.

Thanks to this chair, several training, cultural, research and university extension activities are going to be developed in the field of diagnosis. They will be focused on the permanent dissemination of scientific and medical knowledge. Among them, the prizes to the end of degree projects related to the Chair’s field of knowledge.

Moreover, the Chair is promoting the organization of training sessions on interpretation, diagnosis and treatment aspects based on the use of medical image technology. These activities will be aimed both at students and lecturers. The Chair is also boosting research and collaboration with degree and postgraduate programmes.

During the agreement signing, the Principal has been with Silvia Barona, the Vice-principal for Communication and Institutional Relations. José Manuel Almerich, Principal’s delegate for the studies of Health Sciences, and Federico Pallardó, Dean of Facultat de Medicina i Odontologia. The Principal has stated that ‘the imaging diagnosis is one of the medicine revolutions, and working on this field with a firm like Eresa, is very important for us.’
