Specific entry requirements

Students from the degrees in Chemistry, Chemical engineering, Pharmacy, Biochemistry and Biology will be considered. In the case of coming from other degrees, the Academic Committee will consider each request individually and may require students to take bridging courses to ensure being in possession of the minimum knowledge necessary to follow lessons with good results.

Admissions criteria

Weighting of merits to be valued in order to sort the requests in cases of more demand than supply.

The Academic Committee of the Doctoral Programme (CAPD) will carry out the selection of students based on:

  • CV
  • A letter of motivation
  • The name of two people who may be contacted as a reference.

In assessing the academic record of the applicants, the average score of prior degrees will be taken into account. Knowledge of languages, additional qualifications, specialisation courses, etc. will be considered as other merits. In any case, the following blocked space will be reserved: 50% for grant holders, 30% for recent graduates or looking for their first job, preferably if they are enrolled in job banks (INEM [SEPE-State Employment Service], Professional Bodies,...), 10% for professionals wishing to be retrained and 10% for foreign applicants. In the event of not filling up any of the blocked space, the extra places will be apportioned among the remaining applicants to fill all the places offered.
