For the purposes of scaling the student’s academic record, the marks and average mark must be expressed on a 0-10 scale. Where it is not the case, students must submit a request to ANECA (National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation of Spain) to obtain their grade point average equivalence. Average mark will be increased in a point for students with double degrees, as long as these come from the area of Juridical Sciences complemented with Social sciences disciplines.
Also the Master’s degree Coordinating Committee will give priority to applicants who need to study the Master’s degree in front of those who are or might be a collegiate member without the necessity of obtaining a professional title of lawyer according to the Access Law. Priority will be stablished as following: those applicants that need to study the Master’s degree to obtain the professional title of lawyer will se their average mark multiplied by two; the average mark of the other applicants will remain the same.
The Master’s degree Coordinating Committee could incorporate to the admission criteria a personal interview. In the personal interview will be valued their legal and training competences, the suitability of their profile to the characteristics of the Master’s degree and their motivation. Personal interview will be carried out if necessary for the evaluation of specific cases and will be done by the Master’s degree director or person authorised by him.
