ATTENDANCE WAIVER (COVID-19) ACADEMIC YEAR 2021-2022

As an exception and in view of the mobility restrictions that may still exist in some countries as a result of *COVID-19, the official master's degree in Physiology has considered it appropriate to apply the attendance waiver for students admitted in the academic year 2021-22, who duly accredit the circumstances that prevent them from attending the teaching activities scheduled during the academic year.

REQUIREMENTS FOR REQUESTING DISPENSATION FROM ATTENDANCE

Students who, due to unforeseen circumstances as a result of COVID-19, have mobility difficulties in order to attend the teaching activities scheduled for the next academic year 2021-2022 may apply for an exemption from attendance at the time they are notified of their admission to the master's degree course.

The deadlines for requesting an exemption from classroom attendance are as follows:

  • Ordinary Phase: from 9 to 31 July for students who are admitted in the Ordinary Phase (including both the allocation of places on 9 July and the two calls on 21 and 27 July).
  • Extraordinary Phase: from 21 to 30 September for students who are admitted in the extraordinary phase.

The application will be made telematically at the Electronic Headquarters during the specified deadlines, by accessing the following link:

Application for attendance dispensation for the academic year 2021-22 (Consult "Ajuda").

Requirements for submitting the application:

  • You must have been admitted to the Master's Degree in Physiology.
  • Documentary proof of the mobility restriction caused by the COVID-19 that prevents the student from attending a face-to-face course.

Other circumstances will not be taken into account.

The Academic Coordination Committee of the master's degree will assess the applications received and decide whether or not to authorise the exemption and under what conditions. It will also ensure that students who are excused from attendance can receive the contents of the teaching guide for the 2021-22 academic year for each subject virtually.
