The planned agenda is as follows:

• Motivation: what are the different strategies that lead companies to consider these types of technologies, the variables that influence the decision-making and the kind of companies that use them.
• Reference architectures: we will talk about the reference architecture proposed by Capgemini, in addition to the usual ones like Lambda and Kappa. We will approach the key concepts for a global vision.
• Technology: we will discuss the state of art at the technological level, focusing on discovering the Hadoop, Spark and Flink ecosystems. In the case of Hadoop, we will discuss the most common distributions and compare the different ecosystems (when to apply one and/or others).
• Real experience: a Hadoop-based case with ingestion and analysis of data from Social Networks in combination with relational DB data. Information analysis in Microstrategy.
