On Tuesday, 30 April, from 13:00 to 15:00, at the entrance of the School of Engineering (ETSE-UV), Conèixer els màsters will take place. It is an activity to promote the official Master’s degrees of the Universitat de València to the students of the faculties of Biological Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physics and Chemistry, as well as to the students of the ETSE-UV. This initiative is included in the programme of the STEM Forum (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).
The aim of Conèixer els màsters is to provide undergraduate students with a broad perspective of the academic future offered by the Universitat de València at the end of their studies. To this end, there will be thirty-one information points, one for each of the participating Master’s degrees, where the teaching staff will inform and advise interested students about the academic content of the Master’s programmes and answer any queries they may have. In addition, there will also be a general information point run by the Information and Promotion Service for Students (Sedi) to answer general queries about access and admission to Master’s degree courses, pre-enrolment, requirements and documentation, grants, etc.
The activity Conèixer els màsters is promoted by the Vice-Principal for Studies and organised by Academic Trajectories and the Information and Promotion Service for Students (Sedi). It has the involvement of the Student Service and the teaching staff and students of the participating Master’s degrees. It is included in the programme of the STEM 2024 Forum, organised by UVjob and the Office of the Vice-Principal for Lifelong Learning, Educational Transformation and Employment, in collaboration with the ETSE.
