Last Thursday 21st September the Office of the Vice-Principal for Territorial Projection and Participation de The Universitat opened in the town of Meliana the exhibition ‘La Universitat de València and its surroundings: l’Horta de València’ which will last until 5th October.

The itinerant exhibition ‘La Universitat de València and its surroundings: l’Horta de València’ is composed of 25 panels which go over several aspects of the landscape, territory, history, society, culture and heritage of the emblematic Horta de València. This set of panels have gone through more than twenty towns since 2013 (Paterna, Alboraia, Burjassot, Torrent or Catarroja, among others) and now it has arrived to Meliana. There it is shown next to an exhibit of plastic arts and a representation of the typical tool used at l’Horta. These 3 collections form the exhibition ‘Viu l’Horta’.

The exhibition was open this Thursday 21st September by the Vice-Principal for Territorial Projection and Participation, Jorge Hermosilla, and the major of Meliana, Josep Riera, accompanied by others members of the town council. Those who are interested can visit the work at the Local Institute for Culture (ICM) of Meliana until the 5th October.
