- Plant Biotechnology: the green line. Building transgenic plants.
- Transgenic crops in Agro-industry. From genetic engineering to the plants of the future.
- Biofuels. Plants to burn or plant to eat: a question of genetic design?
- Farm and transgenic animals.
- Transgenic microorganisms.
- Sanitary evaluation of transgenic food.
- Release to the environment of the transgenic crops: evaluation of the ecological risk.
- Economic analysis of the transgenic food and crops.
- Genomics and transgenic food.
- Social debate about the transgenic food commercialization.
Planned position of the course: October in Centro de Cultura Contemporánea (Contemporary Culture Centre).
This course will be lectured by the professors José Pío Beltrán and Daniel Ramón.
This course is co-organized by the Sociedad Valenciana de Ciencias de la Salud “Joan Baptista Peset” (Valencian Society of Health Sciences “Joan Baptista Peset”).
