Pepe Cañero passed away on May 16th, although his memory and his personal and professional legacy will remain with us forever. His figure was central to Spanish Work and Organizational Psychology, and his contributions were founding and fundamental to the Organizational Work and Research Unit (UIPOT) at the University of Valencia and, later, to IDOCAL, the Institute of Human Resources Psychology, Organizational Development, and Quality of Working Life. These contributions may have gone unnoticed by many because his personality and actions, which were not very keen on taking credit and were very keen on helping improve the projects and projects in which he was involved, did not promote his visibility. He helped in every way he could, which was a lot, thanks to his great capacity for work, his intelligence, and his wisdom.
