Marisol Lila Murillo, Head of Contexto Programme, was awarded the Silver Medal for Social Merit in the Prison Service in recognition of her outstanding work promoting social integration through intervention with men who have perpetrated or perpetrate intimate partner violence.

The award was presented on September 24, 2025, at the Torre de Espioca Social Reintegration Center in Picassent, by resolution of the Directorate General of Penitentiary Institutions, in a ceremony that recognized the commitment and professionalism of individuals and institutions linked to the Penitentiary System.

Since 2006, the Contexto Programme has assisted more than 1,500 men and has become a national and international reference in perpetrator programmes. For Professor Marisol Lila and her team, this award acknowledges years of dedicated work and reinforces their commitment to eradicating intimate partner violence against women.
