Ángeles Durán (Madrid, November 30, 1942) is a Spanish researcher specialized in the analysis of unpaid work and its relationship with the social and economic structure. She has been a professor of Sociology and research professor at the Higher Council for Scientific Research, where she has directed the Department of Socioeconomic Analysis and she currently remains attached ad honorem to the Center for Human and Social Sciences.

In 2002 she obtained the “Pascual Madoz” National Prize for Research in Social, Economic and Legal Sciences and in 2018 the National Prize for Sociology and Political Science of the CIS. She has received the appointment as Honorary Doctor by several Spanish universities.
