José Beltrán Jiménez is a post-doctoral researcher. He currently develops his researching activities at the Institute for Theoretical Physics in Madrid. In 2009, he received his Ph.D from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, with the thesis Energía Oscura Vectorial (Vector Dark Energy). Since then, he has worked for the universities of Geneva, Leuven and Marseille. Besides, he frequently visits other institutions including the Universitat de València, thanks to the extended collaboration with the Professor Gonzalo Olmo. His research focuses mainly on the study of modified gravity and its possible relation with dark energy, dark matter or the primitive universe.
