Ars Longa, Cuadernos de Arte, is a journal of Art History, published yearly by the Department of Art History of the University of Valencia. The directors of the journal, who have been also directors of the Department, were: Santiago Sebastián López for issues 1 to 4 (1990-1993), Joaquin Bérchez Gómez for issue 5 (1994), Inmaculada Aguilar Civera for issue 6 (1995), Francisco Javier Pérez Rojas for issues 7-8 and 9-10 (1996-97, 2000), Josep Montesinos Martínez for issues 11 (2002), 12 (2003), 13 (2004), 14-15 (2005-2006), 16 (2007) and 17 (2008) and Luis Arciniega García for issues 18 (2009), 19 (2010), 20 (2011), 21 (2012), 22 (2013) and 23 (2014). The issues 24 (2015), 25 (2016), 26 (2017), 27 (2018), 28 (2019) and 29 (2020) have been directed by Felipe Jerez Moliner. Our journal publishes original research papers about the different specialties related to Art History, Architecture, and other auxiliary interdisciplinary approaches that enrich its studies. In fact, one of its objectives is the dissemination of the various lines of research of the department responsible for its edition, of its researchers and of the general scientific community.

Besides its rigor, quality and innovation, Ars Longa is intended to serve as a meeting and dissemination point for researchers, professionals and people interested in Art History. It presents a wide variety of concerns, content and methodological orientations, covering many periods and topics. For this reason, you are invited to collaborate in future issues following the rules which you will find at the end of the journal and in the specific link. Two readers, at least one of them not affiliated to the department, will evaluate the papers. We believe that this is a way not only to maintain, but also to surpass the achievements obtained until now.

They should review the update of the NOTES FOR CONTRIBUTORS of the journal from number 29 (2020).
