On 30 April, the Universitat de València closes the season of job fairs at the School of Engineering (ETSE-UV) with the STEM Forum. It plans to bring together about 80 companies and organizations in the scientific and technological sectors, in addition to launching an offer of more than 70 jobs.
For the first time, the Employment Forum organised by UVjob and the ETSE-UV, promoted by the Office of the Vice-Principal for Lifelong Learning, Educational Transformation and Employment of the UV, has the active participation of the faculties of the Burjassot Campus: Biological Sciences, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematical Sciences, in addition to the UV Science Park, in an event that is presented under the title Employment Forum of Science and Technology in order to promote the employability of the 19 degrees and double degrees offered by these centres.
The job fair will start at 13:00. It is located on the esplanade in front of the ETSE cafeteria and on the first floor. Students will have the opportunity to take a macro tour of 80 stands from which they can approach more than 70 job opportunities and exchange impressions with the participating companies, entities, organisations and public administrations that are looking for university talent. The day will be rounded off with various meetings between students and professional associations in the STEM area.
The welcoming ceremony will be at 12:30 in the Joan Pelechano Graduate Hall of the ETSE. Afterwards, an academic representation will visit the business spaces, among these:
