The Faculty of Philosophy and Education Sciences celebrates the fifty anniversary of the Universitat’s launching of Pedagogy studies. Approved in the month of December in 1964 by the Ministry, as a section within the former Faculty of Philosophy and Humanities, the inaugural course opened in October 1965. This commemoration aims at recovering memory of this period, at pointing out the great pedagogic contribution to current social and educative realities and at making opportunities and necessities in this professional field known. The memorial session, the conference cycle and round tables are aimed at making this triple objective possible.
