BIOTECMED is a Higher Institute of Cooperative Research of the University of Valencia dedicated to molecular biology applied to biotechnology and biomedicine. Bringing together research groups working across complementary areas of molecular and cellular biology, the Institute promotes scientific excellence, interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation.

Our research addresses fundamental biological processes and their implications for health, disease and biotechnology, seeking to understand the molecular mechanisms underlying complex biological systems and to translate this knowledge into innovative solutions and applications.
