From the Coordinating Centre for Gender Studies of the Public Universities of the Valencian Country in the year 2003 the “Presen Sáez de Descatllar” (València, 1933-2003) Research Award was created to recognise the work of this feminist in defending the rights of women in the Valencian Country. From the beginning this award is celebrated twice a year.
