MOTIVEM, a programme of the Universitat de València, developed by its Foundation ADEIT in collaboration with the Generalitat Valenciana and ‘la Caixa’, keeps growing each year. In the call of 2019 has participated a 11 per cent more of teams tan last year. Specifically, 168 teams- 151 last year- will compete on this edition of MOTIVEM. One of the ideas jointly generated by students and teachers, who are the ones who have to coordinate the teams.

Most teams are formed by a minimum of 3 people and a maximum of 5 people, with multidisciplinary studies. 773 students and 128 teachers will participate, in the three campus of the Universitat.

Teams in every centre

In this edition of MOTIVEM will participate the 18 centres of the Universitat de València. Psychology (14%), Economics (11%), Engineering (9%), Biology (8%), Teaching (8%) and Law (7%) are the centres that have presented a greater number of ideas.

Apart from the first prize MOTIVEM, awarded with 2.000 euros, during the act of delivery, which will take place on May, 14 more prizes will be granted, awarded with 1.000 euros each one.

Creativity, the coherence of the idea, the fact that can be used to change a social necessity, the quality in the presentation and the multidisciplinary character of the members of the team will be the five criterion to evaluate and chose the winning ideas. Furthermore, MOTIVEM wants to internationalise these ideas, since in this edition the programme will take into account the participation of incoming students.
