Ainhoa Genovés is the new Managing Director of the ADEIT Foundation of the Universitat de València. She will be assuming her duties today at this entity of the UV today, which aims to foster collaboration between universities and the productive fabric.

Ainhoa Genovés holds a degree in Biochemistry from the Universitat of València and a doctorate in Biotechnology from the Universitat Politècnica de València. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Science and Innovation Management from the UPV and in Business and Project Management from the EUDE Business School. Additionally, she completed the Senior Management Programme for Health Institutions of the IESE and also received training in gender equality, management skills, as well as the promotion, management and justification of R+D+I projects, both national and international.

Extensive professional experience in the public sector

Throughout her professional career, she held different leadership positions in the public sector. Until recently, she was Managing Director of the Health Research Institute Hospital La Fe (IIS La Fe). Prior to this, she was Scientific Assistant Director of the same institution.

Ainhoa Genovés has shown her determination to structure the relationship between the Universitat de València and companies through the introduction of new and innovative cooperation programmes. She has also expressed her desire to always work at the service of the Universitat de València and her commitment to teamwork.

Foundation to bring the Universitat de València closer to its environment

The ADEIT Foundation of the UV has been working since its creation more than 35 years ago to serve as a meeting point between the Universitat de València and its socio-economic environment. To achieve that, it develops different programmes organised around three main line of actions: training, employability and entrepreneurship.

The ADEIT Foundation has a Board of Trustees, led by Ángela Pérez, which includes representatives of the UV and Valencian society, as well as a distinguished group of relevant companies that are committed to promoting university-business cooperation.
