Results of the event

In the encounters disputed as locals, the teams of the UV achieved great victories. The men’s handball outclassed his opponent with a sounding 38-26, while the women’s and men’s volleyball  won their respective encounters with 3-0. In tennis, the UV impose for 3-0, with individual results go 6-0, 6-0 in men, 6-3, 6-3 in women and 6-4, 6-4 in mixed. In paddle, the UV obtained a 2-1 victory, with triumphs in the men’s category (6-1, 6-2) and women’s (7-5, 6-1), while that mixed team fell with 3-6, 4-6. The women’s handball match could not be played.

As visitors, the teams of the UV also dominated the event. In indoor football, the men’s team achieved an overwhelming victory 1-10 and the women’s team swept with 0-15. in football, the women’s team won with 0-11, and the men’s with 1-3. In basketball, the women’s team imposed with 52-68, while the men’s team suffered a close defeat 86-83. In rugby, the women’s team won their three matches, while the men’s team had three victories and one defeat.

Next phases of the championship

Next 4 March the semi-finals will take place, where the UV will be represented in every discipline in teams. All the teams have been classified as first in teams except for men’s handball and football, that have done it as second. This implies that those classified as first will play their semi-final as locals.

In case of rugby, classified with four themas and, because of the format of the competition adapted after the DANA, both semi-finals and finals will be played on 12 March. That same day, all the finals of the CADU will be played in Alicante, making the city the venue for the championship outcome.

Thanks to the excellent results obtained in the third event, the Universitat de València will have a great representation in the semi-finals, consolidating its position as one of the most competitive institutions in the CADU.
