The Assembly of Student Representatives (ADR) of the university, the maximum representative body of students, is receiving information and advice in equality and prevention of male violence at the request of the Delegations of the Principal for students and the ADRs. Until now, the ADRs of Tarongers and Burjassot campuses were the only ones who attended the briefings, but now there is one scheduled for Monday, the 11th of March, at Blasco Ibáñez.

Briefings arranged by the technical staff of the Equality Unit that tackle the way inequality at the Universitat de València is understood and localised. This is a way to make the Codi de Conducta i Bones Pràctiques en la relació entre Dones i Homes (Code of Conduct and Good Practices in the relationship between Men and Women) public, specially the way to prevent different types of violence against women in the Universitat, stressing the action protocol before sexual harassment and sex discrimination.

The ADRs are formed by representatives chosen by every course of undergraduate and postgraduate studies and the representatives of students of the School Board and the Senate.

Reports of the Equality Unit show the number of cases of sexist behaviour in the classrooms and campuses keeps increasing and happen mostly among the students. In fact, the need to make the university community aware of Equality and prevention of sexist behaviour has been scheduled in many equality plans and is still a priority in the equality policies of the Universitat.
