Call for Volunteers to Support Recovery of Areas Affected by the DANA in Valencia

The GVA, with the support of the UV, calls for volunteer participation in recovery efforts.
Starting tomorrow, November 2, 2024, the Volunteer Coordination Center of the Valencian Community will open on the ground floor of the Príncipe Felipe Science Museum. This center will serve as a point of reference for all those who wish to contribute to recovery work following the damage caused by the DANA in the Valencian Community.
Each day, at 7:00 a.m., 50 buses with a capacity for 50 people each will depart from this center to facilitate safe and coordinated transportation to the affected areas. Once there, each group will receive instructions and assigned tasks to ensure an effective and organized response.
Safety Recommendations
For your safety and comfort, please ensure you bring:
- Waterproof boots or mountain footwear suitable for muddy conditions.
- Protective gloves (affected areas may contain hazardous materials)
- Face mask.
- AWater and food for the day.
