The University Senate gathered at the Main Lecture Hall of the Faculty of Medicine and Odontology to present and debate each of the candidates' programmes for the next six years.
The Universitat de València Senate, abiding to article 100.2 of the Constitution of the Universitat, gathered to listen to and debate the candidacy programmes in anticipation to the UV Principal elections. These will take place next 3 March.
The order to intervene was selected by raffle, which resulted in the following order: Fran Ródenas, Carles Padillla, Juan Luís Gandía and Ángeles Solanes.
The candidates to Universitat de València Principal have presented before the Senate their proposals and measures which will guide the university’s policies for the next six years. They also answered questions and interventions from members of the Senate.
Firstly, the Senate reunion gave the candidates a turn to intervene, during which they presented their teams and electoral programmes.
Secondly, the members of the Senate had their own turn of one hour to intervene, where they offered the candidates their opinions and thoughts. After that, the candidates took the floor once again to offer their response to the Senate’s interventions, with five minutes per candidate. The members of the Senate were granted a second turn to intervene and the session ended with a final turn of conclusion from the four aspirants, with ten minutes per candidate.
Like all the UV Senate sessions, this one was also broadcast live by UVcomunicació and had a previous special programme explaining the programming for this special Senate session.
