A first phase of aids was granted using the UV's own budget, providing laptop computers on loan and Internet connections to those students who requested them in the ICT aids survey.

For those who were not able to do so at that time, a third phase of ICT grants has been called, with the support of routers provided by the Valencian Government.

These resources can be accessed by sending an email to ajudestic@uv.es.

The deadline for submitting applications for ICT grants ends on 15 May.

Situations caused by COVID-19 that impede the payment of enrolment fees

The aim of the Office of the Principal of the Universitat de València is to ensure that no student of the Universitat de València is unable to continue their studies because they cannot afford the payment of the enrolment fees. For this reason, the Universitat de València is one of the Spanish universities that allow a greater number of enrollment payment terms.

The Universitat, in accordance with current laws and regulations, has continued to issue and claim receipts, if applicable. However, the Office of the Principal of the Universitat gave specific instructions to the centres not to cancel any enrolment due to non-payment. This has also been established in the document approved by the Governing Council on 28 April.

If a student is in a financial situation as a result of the COVID-19 that prevents him/her from paying the enrolment fee, he/she must inform the secretary of his/her Faculty or School, providing the documentation that accredits this financial situation, in order to suspend the procedure for collecting the enrolment fee.

Once the alert state has been overcome, the situations presented will be studied and the corresponding procedures will be established, within the current legal framework, to make it possible to pay public fees and prices that are approved by the Valencian Government.

In order to be able to deal with these situations, the Universitat de València has called for its own aids, as indicated above.

The deadline for submitting applications for own UV grants ends on 6 June.

Situations arising from COVID-19 that require the cancellation of enrolment

Throughout the year, the Universitat de València keeps open a procedure for total or partial cancellation of enrolment when there are reasons for this after the enrolment has been made.

COVID-19 may have led to situations in which, despite the measures adopted by the Universitat de València mentioned above, students are unable to complete the academic year.

Information on enrolment cancellations, and their application procedure, can be consulted by following this link: http://links.uv.es/Um1ilzw

The deadline for these applications ends on 15 May.
