With an eye put on the 2025-2026 academic year, it is the moment to get ready and make the most of all learning opportunities. For this reason, the Universitat de València has enabled a new specific button in the home page of the AppUV which gives direct access to all the information about the available grants. This functionality helps students to keep informed at all times and to not loose any calls of interest.

The AppUV allows to consult academic services, locations, news and other useful content both for students and for any other interested person in the University. Furth, it offers a centralised space where you can find updated information about degrees and masters, directories or the university activity in real time. Now, with the new available functionality in the home page, the student can directly access all the active grants of the UV, including the ones for the UV–Open Academy programme.

UV–Open Academy: grants to drive your academic and professional future

The Universitat de València, with the support of Santander Open Academy, promote the UV–Open Academy programme to give support to the academic development and the professional projection of students. This initiative collects all along the academic year diverse calls for grants, economic grants, training actions and awards directed both to students and to graduated people from the UV.
During the last year, the programme offered prominent opportunities such as:

Grants for finances internships, with 10 convoked grants by the Chair for International Finance - Banco Santander - UV

• Grants for double international degrees, with 70 grants of 1.000 € for collective programme students of degree.
• Grants for the degree of University Expert in Startup Management, with 20 grants of 1.100 € for those coursing this specialised training.
• Shadowing Programme, with professional mentorship actions oriented to work insertion.
• EmprenD Awards on services, forwarded to support innovative ideas in the services sector.
• EMPRESCOOP Awards, to promote projects linked to social economy.
• Startup Clinics UV Awards, which recognised the best developed ideas in the Clinics UV.
• Grants of the International Programme, to favour the international mobility of degree students.
• Ingenia UV Awards, focused on valuing female talent and triple impact development projects.

All this initiatives share the same goal: promoting training, entrepreneurship and innovation between university communities. Although many calls are currently closed, all along the academic year new selection processes will be opening. For this reason, keeping up to date through the AppUV is key to not let go any opportunities.

You can now apply for the 2025 Economic Grant

Currently the call for 2025 Economic Grant is open, forwarded to degree, master's degree or postgraduate education students that are enrolled in a participating university in the 2025/2026 academic year, including those newly enrolled.
This grant, gifted with 1.000 €, can be destined to expenses related with studies: accommodation, material, transport or any other necessity. More than 8.000 grants are being convoked and each participant university can stablish specific requirements for their students.
