On Thursday, 25 April, the opening day of the Fira del Llibre, the “Fuente Primavera” space hosts a presentation of the book Mujer y entretenimiento en el hogar victoriano at 18:30, with the participation of Miriam Borham-Puyal (University of Salamanca), Miguel Teruel (UV), the director of PUV, Teresa Ferrer, and the co-author of the book, Laura Monrós-Gaspar.  The presentation includes the reading of Duologues and Scenes from the Novels of Jane Austen, written by Rosina Filippi, by actors Jorge Picó and Inma Sancho.

On Friday, 26 April, the “Fuente Primavera” space will host the panel discussion entitled “Colp militar, exili i bogeria: petjades del franquisme” at 20:00. The latest novelties in the collection “Història i Memòria del Franquisme” (History and Memory of the Franco regime) will be presented. The event will be led by Zira Box (UV). Authors Enric Novella (Las políticas de la locura), Luis Pomer (Martín Centelles Corella) and Eladi Mainar (El golpe militar de 1936, Valencia) will participate.

On Friday, 3 April, the “Caixa Popular” space will host the panel discussion entitled “València medieval: la moreria, el rei Jaume I i altres temes valencians’ at 20:00. The latest novelties of the UVPS about medieval history will be presented. The event will be led by Amparo Jesús-Maria, editor of UVPS. Authors Francesc Granell (Jaume I a la València baixmedieval), Manuel Ruzafa (La moreria de València), Mateu Rodrigo (Recerques de cultura medieval) and Alfred Garcia (Un país de lletrats i analfabets) will participate.

Apart from these presentations, the stand of La Llibreria of the UV will also have the presence of authors during the weekends to sign their books recently published by the UV publishing house.
