María Estela, fallera mayor of Valencia and Marina García, fallera mayor junior of Valencia, have visited the historic building of the Universitat together with their court of honour. They have visited the most unique spaces of the foundational building of the Universitat. accompanied by the principal, M. Vicenta Mestre.

On their arrival, the principal received the two top representatives of the Fallas festival in the main cloister. They exchanged impressions of how these first days of the festival have gone, how they are facing the final stretch of the festival and how they are facing a Fallas marked at the beginning by the tragedy of the fire in the Campanario neighbourhood.

Afterwards, they took the now traditional photograph at the Universitat's Paraninfo, a space built in the mid-17th century and which was used as a meeting place for the Senate of professors and for the performance of classical comedies in Latin and Greek by the students of the time. It is currently kept for the celebration of solemn academic events, such as the opening of the academic year.

They then visited the historical library, which was inaugurated in 1788 and contains manuscripts, incunabula and printed matter published between the 16th and 20th centuries. The falleras were able to see and get to know the exhibition that is available in the Sala Duque de Calabria called Librorum Fragmenta: incunabula and manuscripts reused at the Historical Library, which shows the collection of fragments of reused books.

Finally, the courts of honour and the principal visited La Nau’s Boardroom, a space where the Universitat's Governing Councils used to be held and which holds the portraits of the principals that the institution has had.
