From 12.30 p.m. on 5th December, La Nau, the historic building of the Universitat de València, hosts the seminar “La necessitat d’un pla contra la segregació escolar en la ciutat de València” (The need for a plan against school segregation in Valencia)

This event, which is scheduled to take place from 12.30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the same day, will consist of four parts. In the first part the intervention of academic and political authorities is expected, as well as members of the team in charge of carrying out this project of analysis of the situation in the city of València.

Then, from 1 p.m., the professor of the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM), Francisco Morillo will talk about school segregation in Spanish society (presented by Professor Sandra García de Fez); followed by speeches by Xavier Bonal, Professor at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), on the political strategies for combating segregation in schools in Catalonia (presented by Professor Laura Martínez), and the presentation of a diagnosis and proposals for a municipal plan against segregation in schools in the city of València by members of the research team of the agreement presented by À Punt journalist and Journalist Professor at la Universitat de València, Lola Bañón.
