The Universitat de València, through the Physical Education and Sports Service, will host next Saturday 23 the first adapted fencing clinic organized by the Spanish Paralympic Committee (CPE), with the support of the FTA and collaboration FESA and the Mediterranean Fencing Club Valencia. The clinic will take place in the University Sports Pavillion of Blasco Ibáñez Campus from 9:30 to 13:30.
The event will be directed by Javier García, national fencing trainer of the Mediterranean Fencing Club Valencia and selector of the Universitat de València.
With this clinic, which is part of the CPE Paralympic Relay project, it is intended to promote sports activity in the Region of Valencia among people with functional diversity. It is a call that will make it public among the group of people with disabilities the various sport modalities that can be practiced; will direct and guide this group towards sports clubs that can facilitate the development of any of the modalities; and will contribute, through the participating sports managers, to the dissemination of sports practice.
