The Universitat de València, through the Office of the Vice-Principal for Culture and Society, presents the new edition of the Gandía’s Autumn University, the result of a close collaboration with the Gandía Town Council, the Valencia Provincial Council and Caixa Popular.

Gandía’s Autumn University, in its 2nd edition, under the slogan “Pop music influences on classical music”, will be a forum for teachers, students, researchers and citizens of the town and its region to come together in support of music, citizenship and cultural heritage. For one day, during the morning, the event will provide a space and a time for researchers and students of cultural heritage from the town to generate ideas and discuss the landscape, sound environment and cultural heritage.

The Universitat de València, faithful to its commitment to the local Valencian territory and society, is promoting this academic and learning activity with connections to research and knowledge transfer, in a space of reference in the Valencian cultural heritage, such as Gandía. The event is free and open to anyone who wishes to take part in the cultural and musical heritage of the region.
