Great performance of the UV athletics team at the CADU cross country running championships held at the UJI

On 8 February, the UJI held the Regional University Sports Championship in the discipline of cross country running, with a huge success in terms of participation and organisation.
Two races were held: the women's race, with a distance of six kilometres and 30 athletes taking part, and the men's race, with a distance of eight kilometres and 68 participants, all of them representing the eight Valencian universities that make up the CADU.
The team of the Universitat de València has competed at the highest level, winning:
- the team victory;
- the first position in the men's category, with Enrique Herreros Roig;
- the second and third position in the women category with Ainhoa Martín González and Carla Breco Sánchez, respectively.

Please note that next Tuesday, 13 February the CADU team sports will return with the 5th matchday against UCV.
