With the title The grounds of science, the Mètode Science Studies Journal publishes its new yearly journal of 2019. The new volume of this publication, edited in English, is focused on the need for communication in biotechnology and its advances, biodiversity as a dynamic concept and the relations between humans and machines in the 21^st century with three monographs coordinated by experts and researchers on these issues. A compilation of articles to analyse, reflect and debate, an opportunity to build a better science from its foundation.

The cover, Mètode SSJ is a proposal of Rebeca Plana, Atzucac (2018). This artist from Albalat de la Ribera has always looked for an abstract art that would trascend the concept itself, with an accurate and wild use of colours and brush-strokes to achieve an energetic expression that will break all codes never established.

Mètode Science Studies Journal, which is integrally an open access journal, is included in several indices and datbases like Scopus, Google Scholar, ERIH Plus and Latindex, among others.
