Students from the Universitat de València can contribute with a donation between €8 and €11 to the UVCooperation Fund with just one click in the enrolment process. A fund that has financed 17 cooperation projects around the world since 2021.

Students of the Universitat de València can mark the option of making a donation of 0.7% of their tuition fees to Fons UV Cooperació at the time of enrolment (donation of between €8 and €11 depending on the total amount of the tuition fee).

The UVCooperation Fund has been raising funds for the fulfilment of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of the 2030 Agenda, with individual contributions from students and staff (PDI and PAS) who have decided to collaborate with a contribution when making their tuition fees or monthly payroll, respectively.

This solidarity has allowed, since 2021, the collection of €214,571 which have financed 17 cooperation projects. Projects that have improved the living conditions of beneficiaries through the rehabilitation of a school in Ethiopia and Burkina Faso, the implementation of a human milk bank in a hospital in Peru, the development of support programmes for the prevention and treatment of mother and child malnutrition in Madagascar, among others.

These calls for cooperation projects are published twice a year for students, teaching staff, researchers and administrative staff to submit cooperative projects in countries of cooperation. Once assessed by their respective commissions, the selected projects receive the financial support from the UVCooperation Fund and the management support needed to implement them and evaluate the results.

Much remains to be done to reduce the inequality gap between rich and less developed countries. Increasing funding for these projects can improve the well-being of people around the world.

Your donation can make a difference.
