The event was presided by the president of ADEIT, Juan Manuel Pérez Mira, and by Ramón López, vice-principal for Training Policies and Educational Quality of the University of Valencia. Pérez Mira highlighted that this program «has adapted to the needs of the system, and that’s why nowadays it’s one of the most innovative ones» of the national territory. Moreover, he alluded to the number of tutors who have been trained so far: 100 of the enterprise area and 119 of the University of Valencia.

López insisted that the training is «important» in order to «boost the learning and enhance the quality» as well as in the efforts of the ties «University-Enterprise» through this program. «Education is always a shared effort task, thus, everything related to finding cooperation is absolutely inexcusable», he stated. Moreover, he highlighted the importance of the «innovation» to prepare «new ways» and so that tutors can «teach in a better way».

Subsequently, the Department head of Internship of ADEIT, Miguel Ángel Barberá, intervened, and said that the knowledge that SEAT PE provides tends to be as «useful» as possible so that «any professional can apply it». However, he clarified that we «are open to receive the feedback» from the tutors so that they can help «to improve the program». Later, teachers who will impart classes at the workshops explained the contents that they will deal with, as well as the functioning of the intranet.

SEAT PE is a program that allows the establishment of actions in order to boost the quality of the internship tutoring in the new framework of the university formation.
